The Launch – Season One ’12

The Mizizi launch on 9^th March 2012 was a time to hear great things about Mizizi and a great start to a period of transformation in many lives. It was good hearing what our guests had heard or knew about Mizizi. One contribution stood out and made me want to sign up for Mizizi again

A young lady called Isabella said that Mizizi must have something to do with love since all people that have been through Mizizi ooze with love. It is then that I was even more eager to be associated with Mizizi. Transformation that is reflected in love I believe is something worth having.

Some of the people that had been through Mizizi said some really amazing things about how their lives have been transformed. A gentleman called Godlove totally enjoyed social justice and he has made it a way of life, Emmanuel was and is glad for the friends he has made that he still meets with for breakfast, Evonne who was able to connect with God and her church at a deeper level, Pamela who had been searching, looking and praying for her purpose for years and discovered it during this transformational 10 week experience. Some said the authenticity in the meetings was a breath of fresh air and they knew this was their opportunity to be real, a sense of community was restored to many and of course they were those who were glad that they were not the only people going through all this junk in the world.

The guests were also encouraged and some of them are inviting all people they can get in touch with. Some are looking forward to having a personal relationship with their Creator, others are looking forward to discovering why they were created. Statements like ‘Let’s do this’, ‘I am glad this has come my way’, ‘I am so excited and looking forward to finding my purpose in God’  and ‘I’m excited for what I am about to discover that has been hidden in me’ have been heard since the launch.

This season of Mizizi is going to be like no other. The Lord is going to move in our midst like none of us can plan, think or imagine. Transformation is going to flow right from the leaders and facilitators to every single participant and I can almost see an overflow to families and work places. The Lord is doing something great in our midst, we just need to open our eyes, our heart, our minds and our hands to receive and testify.

All Glory and Honor goes back to the Lord. He alone deserves all praise and glory and honor.

This season is going to be transformational. I believe we are going to see the Lord work in our lives in ways we have not been able to see Him work before. Really can’t wait to see miraculous signs and wonders in a number of spheres of our lives. I trust we are going to understand what the Bible means by “THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE”  for we are going to enjoy freedom in a BIG way. I believe as we go through Mizizi and serve, we are going to enjoy life in abundance as the Lord has promised. I believe…

So far I am enjoying the relationships that I’m forming. I like the people around here and learning Swahili is a great experience so far. I believe that my life is going to be transformed as I serve in this beautiful community and city.

Season One 2012 launches on Friday 9th March at JB Belmonte Hotel opp Posta as from 6pm. Join us as we kick off an amazing ten week experience that will help you connect with God, purpose and people!

Mizizi Season One 2012

Launch this Friday at City Garden Restaurant at 7pm!

It is now confirmed that the launch will be taking place at CITY GARDEN RESTAURANT opposite PPF Towers this coming Friday (30th Sept 2011) at 7PM. If you haven’t made plans to be there yet well now is the time!!

The event starts at 7pm and ends at 9pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

 

 

 

The new season has arrived and so have they!!

Meet Kirigo Mathai and Cynthia Mwenje. Two intelligent, godly and passionate women.

They recently packed their bags, said goodbye to their loved ones and boarded a bus that would take them on a 14 hour journey down to a land they have never lived in. Yes, these two missionaries (cool right? :) ) will be facilitating Mizizi Season Three for the next three months in Dar es Salaam! They are now residents of this beautiful coastal city.

Lets hear what they have to say;

“I’ve never been to Dar, nowhere near Tanzania as a matter of fact. I am looking forward to a mind blowing experience full of life change, connecting with amazing people and transformation.I hope there’s mutura & matumbo(tripe) in Tz and can’t wait to get to Edu’s for some fries!” - Kirigo
